I hope everyone had a nice day. I sure did!! We partied like rockstars in our classroom today! We decorated boxes and then handed out our Valentine's Day cards. The students had a great time. After we passed everything out, we got to have a "party" snack. I'm sure their parents were thrilled with me after I sugared them up and then sent them home...what can I say?!
good to see you back in town! thought i would have had time to comment last night, but i was wiped out after getting kids in bed. i bet it was fun with your class yesterday. i used to love getting valentine's day cards when i was little.
Hey Amanda. Yes, I have been trying to figure out a slide show, but don't know what I'm doing. And I am excited to see other blogs and get to know others. oh, and Jake's picture was taken today. :)

I am a funny, loyal, spontaneous and dynamic woman. I desire a full circle reality and fellow sojourners. I enjoy travel, new experiences and poignant conversations. I am eager to meet my defining moment and ready to purchase a one-way ticket to the rest of my life. I want to eliminate the question of "what's next" and wake up to the "finally it's here!" I value my family, deep friendships, and my personal history. One thing I know for sure: I will always remember who I belong to!

I remember making Valentine's mailboxes out of old cereal boxes. A little construction paper, a half-eaten gluestick, and just a touch of love.
I think I'm glad Valentine's Day comes once a year. It takes that long to recover!!! Aren't kids great?
