h.e.l.p.

Hello fellow bloggers! I am in need of either some help or suggestions. Who out there knows how to get started in digital scrap booking. I'm not finding the time to sit down and actually scrap book, but I have most of my pictures on my computer and it would be so much eaisier (I think) to go digital. I'm not sure where to start or even look. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Thanks!!

mypublisher.com is a good start. also, if you google digital photo books, lots of options come up. i recently did one through apple. i think mypublisher.com has more options for page layout.

hope that helps.

My best suggestion would be to ask Angela! She is really good at digital scrapping. :-)

I am loving the Creative Memories Digital scrapbook. After you install the program, you simply pick you template and drop and drag you pictures. You can play with the colors on the pages, tweek the photos, enter in all your journaling, and when you have your book finished, they will send it hardbound like a regular book. They are available in different sizes and are reasonably priced. After I am done making my blog book (blurb.com) I will be getting that software. I think the cost is about $60, plus they have an excellent program to organize and edit your photos that is around $30. There are definately more time consuming and more expensive ways to do the digital, but I'm getting to the point where the simpler the better, and that means just drag and drop.

Someday, I may break down and get the PhotoShop program that runs about $600, similar to what Pioneer Woman uses to tweek her photos, but can't afford that right now.

if you want free kits that are really cute go to www.twopeainabucket.com and look under digital kits. there is also www.shabbyprincess.com and look under downloads. as far as a program to scrap in i have adobe 4.0 and 6.0 and they both work relly well.

I saw your comment on my blog the other day. I tried to email you but for some reason I have your meridian schools email address still. Anyway, I am a paper scrapper but have done a little digitally. The websites Jen suggested above are great ones to get started. They have some cute (free) stuff. I use Photoshop but don't know much about any other programs. I know a few people that do digital scrapbooking but use other programs so I will ask around and let you know.
