On Saturday I went over to my friend C.B.'s house to work on a sewing project. We had been talking about doing this project for awhile and Saturday seemed like the perfect day to do it! We had gotten the material earlier in the week and I was ready to "create." C.B. is a very good teacher and has a lot of patience! I love my new apron, but I'm afraid to use it when I cook. I don't want it to get dirty... :)

What a fun apron!! Too bad it won't get much use :) Do you need an apron when you make mac and cheese? (In case the powdered cheese goes flying amuck I suppose.) What are you making us for lunch this week?
I'm glad you and C.B. had an enjoyable Saturday and you took the time to make your apron, it turned out very cute!! See you in the mornin:)
It's cute, Amanda.
Too cute! And it is so you! :) Great job! I need to do some more sewing! I'm going to take lessons this summer from a sewing and fabric shop down town. The lady that owns it is a master at sewing. :) Then I can make Jamie, Faith and I matching outfits for Christmas and Easter. :)
That is awesome. I love it!
I'm glad you are finally getting an interest in sewing. I'll bet we still have a sewing project, or two, in the closet somewhere that never got done. Do you think it's too late to enter your apron in a 4H exhibit?
All I can say is "Hot Pockets" anyone? Just joking!
i think it's pretty cool. i love the cowboy boot motif! and is that some pleets i see up top? look at that...you did have a good teacher. i'm jealous. looks good on you.
Hmmm...that sounds so familiar! my nephew made me a handprint apron 6 years ago and i have used it slightly because I don't want to get it dirty, wash it and maybe ruin it! Your apron looks great and fun! You are truly ready for cowboy country with that!
