New Goal

Hello friends! It has been too long. Sorry for the absence, but life has been going 1, 000 miles an hour the last week or so.

As you can see by the title, I am working on a new goal in my life. Since finishing school I needed something to pass the time. I decided to run the Marine Corps Marathon in October with my Aunt Lisa. I have run a full marathon before, The Top of Utah, and I am ready for another one. The MCM is in Washington, D.C. I started training this week...I'm a little out of shape!! It's a good thing I have about 5 months.

A marathon! I can just imagine if I told my husband I wanted to do a marathon, he would up and faint. It's one of his most favorite things. I can't wait to hear how it goes. You asked about whether I did a Beth Moore Bible study. I did the Patriarchs and Daniel. They were amazing. They both really made me think that classes like that should be available to every one. All the ladies I knew said they were able to share the info with their significant others. I don't know any other studies that men are interested to listen to what their women learned.

Wow! I would love to run a marathon. I need to get out and run. Not run more, but just run! I'm taking my gear to the scrapbooking weekend with me. :)

You are an amazing athlete and I'm sure you will do great!! Not only does it sound like hard work, but it sounds like a lot of fun and a great goal. It's hard to sit and be in limbo when you feel like you should be moving forward. Cute purse and I will see you tomorrow for some great food and company!!
