The Pledge of Allegiance
I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God,indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Happy 4th of July! I love the picture!
It is now 1 in the morning and I am looking at your web page and wondering if you had a good fourth of July. I worked as usual and came home in time to get Kelly and watch some fireworks. One of the tunes on the radio and we watched the fireworks was the Lee Greenwood song "I'm proud to be an American" and I have to say it is one of my favorites because I am proud to be an American. I think Kelly was thankful I didn't stand up and start singing!! Hope all is well.
Hi Baby:Love your picture and what it stands for.
Thanks for posting the Pledge and our National Anthem. Do you know that alot of Americans can't recite the Pledge on their own? That is a SHAME!!
I too love that song, "I'm Proud to be an American". It gives me goose bumps when I hear it and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I hope you had a wonderful 4th!!
